ScribbaScribba does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no Scribba servers.
Your notes
Your notebooks, recordings, photos and flashcards are stored on your iPad. They are included in your iPad's iCloud or computer backups, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
With iCloud Sync on (Settings › iCloud in Scribba), your notebooks are also kept in your private iCloud database so they appear on your other iPads. Only you can see that data: it lives in your Apple Account, under Apple's privacy policy, and Scribba's developer has no access to it. Turn iCloud Sync off at any time; to remove the copy in iCloud, go to Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Scribba. When you export or back up a notebook, it goes only where you choose to send or save it.
Microphone, camera and photos
Scribba uses the microphone only to record lectures you start, the camera only to take photos or scan documents you ask for, and photos only when you pick them. Recordings and photos stay in your notebooks on your iPad.
Speech recognition
Transcripts of your recordings are made by Apple's speech recognition. On iPads that support on-device recognition, audio never leaves the iPad. Otherwise, Apple's speech service processes the audio under Apple's privacy policy; Scribba never receives it.
Study tools
Key points, study guides and flashcards are made by Apple Intelligence on your iPad. Your notes are not sent to Scribba or anyone else.
Purchases
The free trial, Scribba Lifetime and Scribba Annual are handled by the App Store. Scribba learns only which of them your Apple Account owns, so it can unlock the app. It never sees your name, email or payment details. Manage or cancel Annual in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
Children
Scribba collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
